10 Profitable Business Models You Can Launch This Year


One of the most common questions I receive when people talk to me is "what kind of business should I start?" and the answer is, I don't know. Because every single person is different, they have their own strengths and weaknesses so some businesses are going to be a lot easier for you to create compared to others and I don't know what those businesses are going to be. You know yourself better than I do.

In this article, I'm going to outline every single possible business idea I can think of with a brief explanation and an example of that business, to some degree, in three different categories: Online, Offline, and Real Estate.

There are over 20 tangible businesses that you can start right after reading this article. We will start in the online or digital world because that's where everybody wants to be these days. The first one is

1. Dropshipping/E-commerce

Basically, you find a supplier in some other part of the world. You get their products, put them on your website, display and market them, and then keep the profit in between.

Dropshipping and e-commerce is a great business. It's still very viable, It still works and I see people that are doing it successfully today and it's great if you have a lot of time and a little bit of money and a computer.

2. Amazon FBA.

Again, these are more of the main stream ones but after we go through these, I will go into the more specific ones. With Amazon FBA, the idea is that you get a product and you put it on Amazon, you position it and then people start buying your product and you don't have to start any advertisement because Amazon fulfills it and does the work and they take a cut.

It's an alternative to dropshipping and it's a different way to sell a product on the internet.

3. Affiliate Marketing

What this is, is that you basically take someone else's product, direct visitors to their product or service, and if they convert, you get a percentage of the sale. That is all you have to do. You do not have to do any of the work and this works perfectly with product and services.

A great example of this type of work is what people are doing with Hustler's University where people can get a link if they are in the program, they create a TikTok video discussing it and then people discover and start buying from the website.

I heard that there are a lot of kids generating significant income through this method. Just creating TikToks. As of the time of writing this article, I thought affiliate was on the down trend but this goes down to show that it's a very real business and this strategy can be applied to many businesses and it's still very viable.

4. Starting An Agency

This is a fundamental business idea and this is incredibly broad. I am going to list the different kinds of agencies you can start.

1. Branding & Design Agency
2. Email Marketing Agency
3. Google Ads Agency
4. Facebook Ads Agency
5. Promotional Agency
6. Twitter/YouTube Growth Agency
7. Real Estate 3D Images.

So many real estate builders use agencies for the rendering of their houses and future residence. All the agency will do is to create 3D real estate photos for their projects, and that is an agency you can start. It's the same as any other agency. You'll be the one running the agency and then you have someone you employ to hire people to work and then he keeps the profit in between.

8. Credit Repair Agency
9. Home Detailing/ Office Cleaning.

So this is just a couple of them. There are more, just think about something that you are good at that you think you can do for people who do not know how to go about it on their own. Basically, the idea is you're going to start an agency around anything that somebody needs, anything that can be valuable to somebody that you could sell to them.

But it should be something that you can also outsource. Credit Repair, for example, is valuable to people that need to repair their credit. So you could sell that to them and find other people to repair the credit or learn how to do it yourself which is what I will recommend, learn the skill yourself.

As long as you can provide value to someone, you can create an agency around it.

5. Website Development

Designing and building websites for clients is one great thing that you can do. The easy way to go about this is if you have a great sense, you can use the internet to market yourself in certain ways. Twitter is a create place, you can actually grow and interact with other big accounts and you can organically grow your account followers and then gain clients from there.

6. Graphic Designer

This is for more artistic people that are reading this article who can design graphics, logos, or assets for websites like little PNGs that people want to use on the website and you can sell them to people or you can post some on certain websites on the internet and sell them if people want to buy them.

7. Thumbnail Creation For YouTubers

You can start creating thumbnails for YouTubers and not being terrible at it because most thumbnails I've ever seen from sites like Upwork and Fiverr are absolutely terrible. Make sure you do some research and make sure you get some skills.

That is a huge job opportunity that would absolutely work today and right now.

8. Video Editing Agency

Again, this is a really good thing to do in my opinion. Videos are everywhere, content is everywhere and so much of the world live on the internet now. There are a lot of YouTubers, a lot of businesses that integrate advertisements into their content and just starting an agency or editing videos for YouTubers or companies is something you may think is saturated but in reality, it's not.

Because a lot of people doing this are very lazy. Just a pulse on everything I've been saying, most people in the world are just lazy. Especially people in the first world like the U.S, they do not have quality skills so all you have to do is go a little bit above and beyond with a little bit of style.

If you just do something a bit different, you will truly stand out and most people will love to use your service. If you're doing a good job, you're going to stand out. This is a very viable option.

9. TikTok Video Editing Agency

This is more like, you go to popular TikTok creators because a lot of them are kids and they don't know as much about editing or maybe they are just lazy and they don't want to do it themselves. You just go to them and tell them you'll edit their videos and produce their videos, make them better, take time of their plate and help them grow.

And I think a lot of people will be super down for that even if you want to offer them a revenue-sharing arrangement or something like that. To reach out to individuals that have huge following, you have to be a little bit creative and willing to do something for free. Like creating a TikTok for them and sending it to them telling them you created this for them so they should check it out.

The idea is if you do something for somebody first before asking for something, it's going to stand out to them a lot. Because a lot of YouTubers and influencers have people constantly reaching out to them asking them for stuff but they often don't really offer them something valuable.

10. Deal Closer/Network Manager For Influencers

Again, reaching out to influencers and telling them "hey, I'll go through all deals and negotiate your deals and do everything and get you paid for like 10 to 15%. You don't have to do anything, you just tell me what kind of stuff you want and I'll take care of the rest."

People will appreciate that. Somebody who will go through their DMs and sort out the important ones, talk to people, and nurture them if they are interesting or have something good to bring them.

The last thing that I want to let you know is that each method discussed in this article is proven to be effective if you put in the effort. All you have to do is to go a little bit above yourself.
