Optimal Automated AI Side Gig for Making $10,000 in 2024"

There are YouTube channels out there that never show their face and hardly have to do any work themselves, and these channels are generating significant revenue per month nearly automatically.

This channel, "On Point Fresh", regularly gets hundreds of thousands of views on their videos, never shows their face, and even has entire videos where, for minutes at a time, they are literally just showing text on a black screen.

This channel consistently earns over $10,000 per month, not even including the sponsorships that they do on their videos. In fact, there are several different YouTube channels that we'll take a look at today, and all of these channels are making significant revenue with very little effort.

Plus, nowadays, thanks to AI, there are tools out there that will allow you to input a simple prompt and turn that prompt into full ready-to-post videos that virtually anyone can do.

And once you've started posting enough videos, you'll begin generating what's called recurring income, which is just another term for passive revenue. The best part is that you can start this business from virtually anywhere in the world with $20 and a little bit of time. So here's the exact process, step by step.

You'll first start off by writing a text prompt into ChatGPT using a tool called Video Maker by Nvidia AI. It'll then take that prompt and convert it into a full video. At which point, you can make edits to this video to further add your personal touch to it.

You'll then ensure that you properly package the video, which on YouTube is just another way of saying coming up with a good title and thumbnail. At which point, you can post the videos on YouTube and wait for the views and the revenue to start rolling in.

What's really beneficial about this side hustle is that AI will do most of the work for us. Even coming up with the ideas and the titles for your videos can be completely automated using AI. Now, before you go out there and start making a bunch of random faceless YouTube videos that don't get any views.

It's first really important that you know what types of faceless videos actually do get views. The way that we're going to research this is by taking a look at real channels that never show their face, use a ton of stock footage in their videos, or use clips that they themselves didn't have to create and can still make money while doing this, preferably over $10,000 or more per month.

The first channel that meets this criteria is this channel right called, Bright Side. So this channel has 44 million subscribers and gets on average 43 million views per month on their channel. According to Social Blade, they're earning $174,000 revenue.

If you actually go and take a look at some of their top-performing videos, which have tens of millions of views, many of them are just using stock footage with really basic text. Even the voices that are being used in these videos almost kind of sound like AI voices, which leads me to believe that they aren't even recording the voices themselves.

Recently, because of the rise of AI, these AI-generated voices have gotten significantly better than what they were even just a couple of years ago. This is great because the tool that you'll use to make these videos does have realistic sounding AI voices.

Another channel that meets this criteria is this channel right here, On Point Fresh. So this channel has over 480,000 subscribers and on average is getting between 2 to 3 million views per month. This means they're making as much as $11,000 per month according to Social Blade.

We can verify this number by taking 3 million views, which is how much their channel is getting on average, dividing that by 1,000 because the RPM is based on 1,000 ad views, and then multiplying that number by $4, which is the average RPM on YouTube.

This gives us $122,000. So we know based on the math and based on how many views this channel is getting per month on average that they're definitely earning somewhere in the range of $10,000 plus dollars per month. This doesn't even include the sponsorships that they're doing.

We know they're doing sponsorships because, well, that's why some of the videos are declared sponsored. This channel is making videos where they never ever show their face, a lot of stock footage is being used, and in some cases, like I mentioned earlier, all they're doing is showing text on a black screen for minutes at a time. Their videos are getting impressive viewership.

Now, we could go on and analyze all of these different channels, and the same thing would apply. None of these channels are doing anything out of the ordinary that you yourself wouldn't be able to go and recreate using some simple tools. Let's talk about the tools.

I'm using a GPT from the official ChatGPT store, which just launched not that long ago. This GPT is called Video Maker by Nvidia. You do technically need a ChatGPT Plus plan to use this tool. If you don't want to pay for a ChatGPT Plus subscription, there is a different way to go about this.

Instead of using ChatGPT, you would go directly to Nvidia AI. You would then sign up for free using either a Google or Apple account or just using your email address.

When you type in your email, Nvidia AI will then send a six-digit code to your email that you'll then use to log in. When you're just getting started, you can use Nvidia AI for free just to kind of get a feel for it and see if it's something that you actually want to do.

If you do plan on posting videos to YouTube or TikTok or wherever, you will have to upgrade to a plan, which will allow you to export your videos without any watermarks. The plan that I would recommend for most people is the Plus plan, which only costs $20 per month.

Now it's time to actually create some videos. From ChatGPT or directly within Nvidia AI's interface, you would start off by typing in a simple prompt. "For example, if I wanted to make a video for my channel that was similar to the channel we talked about earlier, Bright Side, and I wanted to make a video specifically about the benefits of drinking water, I can start typing, "Create a YouTube video about the benefits of drinking water." The AI will generate a video for us that is honestly pretty good. Generally speaking, the more detailed your prompt is, the better your results will be.

I'm going to give our prompt a little bit more detail. So, we'll stick with this original text, "Create a YouTube video about the benefits of drinking water," but then I'll add to it. "Keep the language in the video super simple and easy to understand.

Also, make the video is at least 10 minutes long. Make the background music be uplifting and fun. Occasionally add subtitles to the bottom of the video when stating facts."

Now we've given the AI significantly more details, so the results should be a lot better. You can also do things like reference news articles or different websites and have the AI pull information from those resources.

For example, within this prompt, we could add a sentence at the end. "Along with all of that information, also consider this blog article." I'll paste in this blog article here, and then we'll say, "This blog article is about the seven health benefits of drinking water. I don't want you to copy this article word for word, but I would like you to use some of the facts about water from this article." The AI will start generating this new video based on that detailed prompt. It'll then create a link for us to view the video.

Something else you could do is just completely mute or remove the AI voice altogether, in case you wanted to record your own voice. Obviously, this is optional, as the AI does generate very realistic-sounding voices for you.

Perhaps you wanted to add your own personal touch by adding your voice. Now we've only generated one video using AI to give you an example of what's possible. By using Nvidia AI, I've been able to generate a video about the benefits of drinking water, which would work on a channel like Bright Side. I also generated a motivational video that would work well for a motivational channel.

I then went on to generate a news-type video about the Wagner Mutiny in Russia. I had the AI pull information from this Wikipedia article. A video like this would work really well on a news/current events channel.

All these different channels are proven to get views and make money. The only thing you have to do is package the video so that you can get clicks, views, and make money. The packaging of the video is specifically the title and thumbnail.

When it comes to titles and thumbnails on YouTube, the worst possible thing you can do is just guess. Coming up with different random titles and thumbnails for your videos that end up never getting you views. To go about this the right way, the first thing you'll want to do is research.

Identify what niche does your faceless YouTube channel fall under. If you're making faceless videos similar to a channel like any that we shared herd, then your titles and thumbnails are going to look a lot different than if you were making videos in, let's say, the travel or tour channel niche.

For channels like Bright Side, B Smart, and Minute Physics, all falling under the infographic/information niche, there are a few things in common with their titles and thumbnails. They hardly ever use real people in the thumbnails. The thumbnails include text with some imagery showing what the video is about, typically using cartoonish images. Titles are either listicle titles or questions.

If you were making a video about the benefits of drinking water, the title could be something like "Seven Hidden Benefits of Drinking Water Daily" or "Seven Things They Don't Want You to Know About Drinking Water." You could also go the route of asking a question, like "What Exactly Happens to Your Body When You Drink Water?" or "Is Drinking Water Actually as Good for You as They Say?" You can also use AI to help create titles. For example, ask ChatGPT to generate a list of YouTube titles about the benefits of drinking water.

Regarding thumbnails, you don't have to reinvent the wheel. You can use free tools like Canva and resources from sites like Raw Pixel and VCEasy. You can create thumbnails by searching for images and adding text to make them stand out. Remember to model what's already working.
